Welcome to the Canva Painting website. By accessing this website, requesting a quote, or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Our Services
Canva Painting provides residential and commercial painting, drywall repair, cabinet refinishing, wallpaper removal, popcorn ceiling removal, and related property improvement services throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
2. Quotes and Estimates
Website inquiries and preliminary estimates are provided for general guidance only. Final pricing may depend on an on-site inspection, project measurements, surface conditions, materials, labour requirements, and the agreed scope of work.
Any additional work requested after approval may result in extra charges and must be confirmed before completion.
3. Scheduling
Project dates are scheduled based on availability, weather, access, material supply, and project requirements. We will make reasonable efforts to complete work within the agreed timeline, but delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing safe and reasonable access to the property
- Removing fragile or valuable personal items from work areas
- Informing us about hazards, damage, moisture, mold, or structural concerns
- Obtaining necessary property owner, landlord, or building approvals
- Reviewing and approving colours, finishes, and project details
5. Payments
Payment terms, deposits, installment schedules, and accepted payment methods will be outlined in the written estimate or service agreement. Payments must be made according to the agreed schedule.
Canva Painting may pause or delay work if required payments are not received.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellation and rescheduling terms will be provided in the written estimate or service agreement. Customers should notify us as early as possible if project dates need to change.
Deposits may be subject to deductions for materials ordered, labour reserved, or other project costs already incurred, where permitted by law.
7. Colours and Materials
Paint colours may appear different depending on lighting, surrounding surfaces, screen settings, and existing wall conditions. Customers are responsible for approving final colour selections before application.
Materials may be substituted with comparable products when the original product is unavailable, subject to customer approval where appropriate.
8. Existing Conditions
Canva Painting is not responsible for hidden or pre-existing issues such as water damage, mold, structural movement, failing drywall, poor previous workmanship, unstable coatings, or concealed defects unless specifically included in the agreed scope of work.
Additional repairs discovered during the project may require a revised quote.
9. Workmanship and Warranty
Any workmanship warranty will be described in the written estimate or service agreement. Warranty coverage does not apply to damage caused by leaks, moisture, structural movement, impact, misuse, improper cleaning, or work completed by others.
